Martin Doel OBE
Chief Executive,
Association of
Colleges

‘With the new Coalition and Ministerial teams now in place and much focus on the large deficit and budget cuts, we must use the opportunity of the whole sector coming together, in one place, in such uncertain times to set a collective agenda. It's an opportunity to take the lead in driving recovery and to take advantage of opportunities, as well as to confront the inevitable challenges we will face.

Once again you can expect the highest calibre speakers from outside and inside of the sector, international perspectives and best practice. Colleges are increasingly seen as politically relevant and a vital factor in leading and sustaining economic recovery. AoC’s Annual Conference draws together the voice of our diverse sector, a voice the new Government will not ignore.

Over two and a half days, conference delegates can explore the key national issues facing the sector, share best practice and debate solutions to current and future challenges.

I look forward to seeing you at the AoC conference in Birmingham.’

An opportunity for those in FE to really talk to the policy makers.' 'I enjoyed all the sessions I attended gaining information and insights from all the speakers.
